The ambitious £30 million plans to rebuild the lost village of Long Sandall on a redundant brownfield site on the edge of Kirk Sandall near Doncaster will once again place the historic St Oswald’s Church at the heart of the community.

The vision will see a new village green and a new village square, designed to provide a focal point for weddings and other community celebrations. There will also be a community centre, a children’s nursery, shops and offices.

The urban village will be supported and sustained by a range of 1,2,3,and 4 bed new homes and live/work units, creating new jobs and business opportunities for the community. The River Don Navigation canal flows alongside the site and the design of the buildings reflects the waterfront location with many of the new homes having waterside views
